We took another early morning flight (and our last one) to Phuket. We got the Phuket City and it’s a cool little town, but may not have been worth the entire day (sorry to the Phuketians reading this).
I checked out Khao Rang Hill during the day – it was a little bit of a walk but the view was pretty good for a cloudy day.

Stopped on the way up at a cafe in the trees.

What a view...

Reached the top!

Kinda cloudy :(
Afterwards, I walked around the town a little bit...

They loved their king! #gameofthrones #winterfell #thenorthremembers

Picked up a snack

Passed through a market

I walked down this street and apparently the princess was in town that day! This is the main street in Phuket but was surprisingly deserted. Its got some cute little shops and the lighting is really nice.
Although super touristy, Ko Phi Phi was my favourite part of Thailand (I didn't get to visit Chiang Mai or Pai which sound like places I'd really like... oh well, reason to back!). Anyway, the water was clear and the scenery was beautiful.

The weather was not great when we left Phuket...

...but soon started to clear up.
We arrived there and hung out on the beach – playing with a frisbee and my underwater camera. We then climbed to a viewpoint and it was the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen! I forgot my actual camera which was a little disappointing, but I guess it’s another reason to go back!

Sign in the hostel where I stayed, so welcoming... ended up staying here because I was slow to book :(
At night, we went to this bar that plays movies and got food. This was where I had the best pad thai! It was surprising since it was like a super touristy bar – I find the really local places often have the best food. Anyways, after that, we ended up meeting some people somehow. There were a lot of people from Western University there so I ran into a few people I knew – so weird. However, we wandered around the town and went to a Muay Thai fight! This was crazy – the guys are tough as hell! At the bar, they let tourists fight each other too. I liked my glasses too much to try that...

Pad thai!
Was right behind the corner of the ring, so the video does not do justice.
As mentioned previously, that night, I stayed in a crappy hostel on the beach so I left immediately the next morning for "Hangover Hostel".

Not a bad morning view !
Now "Hangover Hostel" is the greatest hostel ever because the hostel owner, Mr. Singh, is the man. The hostel is clean, far enough from the beach and bars so you can actually sleep, but still fun. I highly recommend it if you are ever in Ko Phi Phi – I think the reviews speak for themselves. I think I might just go back to hang with Mr. Singh.
That day, Mr. Singh helped me buy tickets for a snorkeling tour! My stomach was not in great shape so the waves were not nice to me... to put it simply, I fed quite a few fish. However, the tour was awesome and I tried to make the most of it. We went to Monkey beach, went snorkeling and just went around the island. The scenery was beautiful!

The beginning of my stomach woes

Riding through Ko Phi Phi with my stomach woes

First stop, Monkey Beach!

The little homie
Seem cute but deadly if you have bananas or food on you.

Second stop
Third Stop, Snorkelling!

Getting to Maya Beach, where "The Beach" was filmed? Starring DiCaprio

Fourth Stop, Maya Beach - costs like $40 to go in but my stomach needed solid ground.

Stopped for the sunset in the middle of the ocean and so we were rocking back and forth... managed to snag this pic despite my stomach woes.
When I got back, Mr. Singh ordered me some soup from the restaurant down the road. It helped, and I was soon enjoying the Hong Thong. Now the reason I say Mr. Singh is the man is because at night, he gathers everyone on his front porch and opens a bottle of Hong Thong (a bottle of rum). This was probably one of my most fun nights on the trip.

Breakfast the day after! Pancake with nutella.
