Getting here was the fun part of the trip. We took an overnight train and surprisingly got a decent night’s sleep. The views were nice and we shared a cabin with a lady who had moved to California but was just back visiting. However, the reason I might not take one of these again is due to cleanliness. The bathrooms made you want to stop drinking water and just hold it... and we realized after the fact that they do not clean the sheets. It appeared they just folded up the blankets, put the pillow back in its place before the next person got on. I would think they cleaned it at the very end of the journey, but I could be wrong... its also not much cheaper (and may be more expensive) than flying. You do save on a hotel for the night!

Anyway, Nha Trang is basically a Russian resort town and all the signs are in Vietnamese... and Russian. Even the servers at restaurants take on Russian names (like Natalia)!
Tried ostrich soup... pretty good.
It’s a beautiful town and we went down to the water for a bit before making our way to see the Ponagar Temple.
