This was a work trip I did in 2022 – we had a conference in New Orleans called Xerocon. Xero is an accounting software that our company’s platform integrates with and so they are one of our partners. The event itself was great! It had a New Orleans theme to it and they really embraced the city’s culture at the conference itself in terms of the food served and having a marching band walk through the tradeshow floor.

Since we were there from Monday to Thursday, I figured I would work from New Orleans on Friday and stay the weekend to make the most of it! I was able to enjoy some of the restaurants and night life on Bourbon Street during the week of the conference as we would usually wrap up by 5 pm.
